Harley was an excellent checker player and played most Amish meets, many ACF, NC & VA state tournaments, and several ACF National Tournaments. Harley owned a winter home in Sarasota and was available to play pick-up games anytime from January through April. He was a rare gentleman who could keep you playing checkers or listening to stories for hours, he will be missed!
